FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND POLICIES
Since British Shorthairs are a smart and affectionate breed, we do our very best to ensure all of our cats and kittens receive exceptional care. To protect their health and well-being, we aim to limit outside traffic to our cattery as much as possible. This helps reduce the risk of unintentionally introducing illnesses such as feline parvovirus, giardia, and other contagious conditions. That said, yes—visits are often a magical experience! We’ve heard many stories from families who had a particular kitten in mind, only for another one to curl up in their lap and steal their heart. We completely understand how important it is to meet the kittens in person before making your final decision. To schedule a visit and choose a kitten, we do require a deposit in advance. This deposit is non-refundable but is fully transferable to any available kitten.
Yes, we offer safe and reliable delivery of our British Shorthair kittens throughout the USA, and occasionally to Canada.
We work with trusted animal transport specialists who are experienced in handling pets with the utmost care. Health Guarantee for Our British Shorthair Kittens
All of our British Shorthair kittens come with a one-year health guarantee against serious genetic conditions.
If, within 72 hours of taking possession, you are not satisfied with your kitten, we offer a money-back guarantee, provided the kitten is returned to us in good condition at the buyer’s expense. We are committed to ensuring each kitten is healthy and well cared for before leaving our home.
Should your kitten be diagnosed with a major hereditary health issue by a licensed veterinarian within one year of purchase, we will offer a replacement kitten of equal value. Please note, however, that this guarantee does not cover common illnesses, minor health issues, or injuries that may occur after the kitten leaves our care.
We strongly recommend scheduling a prompt veterinary check-up after bringing your kitten home. All veterinary expenses, including routine checks or treatment of non-genetic conditions, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
If something unforeseen happens to the kitten you have reserved with a deposit, you will be given the option to either choose another available kitten or apply your deposit towards a future litter. Alternatively, you may request a full refund of your deposit.
However, if you decide to cancel or fail to collect your kitten without notice, your deposit will be retained to assist in rehoming the kitten. We make every effort to contact you multiple times and allow a two-week grace period without communication before assuming the kitten has been abandoned. If we do not hear from you within that time, the kitten will be made available again for reservation.
We always aim to be fair and understanding, and will consider refunds or alternative arrangements in cases of genuine, unforeseen circumstances beyond your control.
